3.04 Day 64

The sum of our parts cannot begin and cannot end, and so it cannot fail.
So I know she forgives me, just as I forgive her. Thomas Edison's last words were: "It's very beautiful over there." I don't know where there is, but I believe it's somewhere, and I hope it's beautiful.

Now give me some music...

A few lovely ladies won't hurt either...

Hello, legs...

And I thought I had nice tits...

I heard someone's voice the other night whom I hadn't spoken to in some time and I melted. I can't say I'm very fond of conversing on the telephone but I will say that speaking to him roused my fondness for him. Time has a way of doing that. We've drifted, shifted, moved on, and found amity. It feels damn good.

Cheers

2.20 Day 15

Vent...
So I attempt to do all the good deeds I can muster. Pick up random trash, offer a light for someone who looks like they need one, open doors, offer up seats on the subway, all the "pleases" and "thank yous". That's just how I roll. Today, a mom with a stroller the size of a mini cooper was standing at the top of the subway stairs appearing to having a panic attack. I offered to help her carry her stroller down the stairs, she accepted. I, having just picked up my coat from the dry cleaners, spilled my coffee all over it in the process. I'm sorry, but when does the karma kick in? And, my birthday is tomorrow! Shoot.

I posted a piece of art I found, and purchased from Etsy, a while back. The artist just printed a new piece of cake that I also find quite lovely...

Thank you, Hijirik, for your email.

I'm off to part-eh! Happy birthday to me.

1.23 Day 2

When times are heavy I tend to turn towards the "poppier" tunes to avoid the heartache I'm feeling. After all, who wants to listen to gooey slow songs when your heart feels like a piece of bubble gum that just got wedged up under someone's shoe?
I'm in a different place now, sailed a different ship, an
d the gooey songs aren't so somber anymore. As my heart thaws, these songs become sultry and inspiring. Consider it a collaboration of some of my favorite tunes that bring out the more "romantic" side in me...

Radiohead, In Rainbows. Song, "Reckoner"

Lydia, Illuminate. Song, "This is Twice Now"

The Album Leaf, Into the Blue Again. Song, "Always for you"

Blonde Redhead, Misery is a Butterfly. Song, "Elephant Woman"

Cat Power, You are Free. Song, "A Good Woman"

Bloc Party, Intimacy. Song, "Signs"

Now...who else is in the mood to make out?
